Smartipants are a new one-size diaper. Jessica, a mother of four, set out in 2002 to find the perfect cloth diaper. She looked for convenience, easy care, and comfort. She loved the convenience of one-size fitted diapers and as well as a new diaper style called “pocket diapers.” She combined these to create a one-size pocket diaper, Wonderoos. After a few years making Wonderoos, she sold the design and devoted time to her young family.
When she met the team at Smartipants, they shared some new ideas and worked hard to develop a unique design for a brand new diaper. She still wanted a diaper with customizable absorbency and a trim fit. The Smartipants team created a cleaner system with inserts that would come out of the diaper in the laundering process. Smartipants is an evolved modern diaper, smarter than the average diaper.
